I thought my cat should have been put down a few times during his illness but the vet kept saying he was OK for a bit longer. I was getting more and more upset as he was getting slower and slower and eating less and looking skinnier all the time. One morning he couldn't get up to go to the toilet and the vet agreed that now it was time and he came over that afternoon to put him to sleep. I hope you have someone with you when it's Bruce's time to go, if it's not now then later. I guess that vets see sick animals all the time, they know when they really are at the end, but we can't possibly imagine that they could get worse and still not be in misery. This is how my Moo looked at the end, still makes me sad &c:ry

Moved the fry into a net box and put the adults back in the tank in the hope of more eggs in the tank where they grow up the best. There were about 7 fry. 3 escaped through the net into the tank and were gone this afternoon so now there are about 4 fry left. Now selling them and will try the ones that are reported not to eat their young, will see how that goes :happy2: .

Yes it is, I am trying to grow sensible brain cells that stop me buying more fish, but it isn't working. It only feeds the naughty brain cells.

I have tied rhizomes and moss to bogwood and some bits have just stuck after months and months, some never attached properly at all. My husband says that it's because the natural chemicals in the wood that stop it rotting are stopping the bits attaching too. I've had the best success putting the rhizome on a stone and putting a little pebble on top, those have taken a month to 2 months to stabilise and stay attached.

We bought a sodastream and drink plain filtered fizzy water, or same with a squirt of lime or lemon. It's really refreshing and not bad for your teeth or adding extra calories.

Depends where you get posted, if you are in Auckland any of the above. Pick the one you are interested or find the easiest as you're more likely to enjoy learning it and spend the time learning to be good at it. It's not just the ability to speak a particular language that is the appreciated skill, it's the ability to communicate with other people and to be able to translate. If you are really busting to try and pick the 'right' one - if there is such a thing -why not see if you can find statistics for which races get arrested and/or charged other than english speaking ones.

it doesn't wipe away like slime, it's a bit more stuck on than that.
