  1. It's on the second rock back! :bounce: and, if your tank is the smallest splish and splash tank, A peice of A4 paper works for a background
  2. That's much all you need to do, as it's main purpose is for mechanical filteration

    My tank

you could get 20-30 tiger barbs, and more wood/substrate maybe some larger/more plants if it's viable?.. Java ferns/anubias's maybe
  9. I have my sources... *shifty eyes*
  10. you could try and make a carpet of Hydrocotyl verticillata (I would happen to not know the common name ) or maybe dwarf sag. if it appreciates the lower temps?.. Coldwater iwagumi?
  11. I was gonna ask what your red plant is Is the black stuff on the back of the tank your background? I kinda thought it was blinds from a window  it's grown in a fair bit as well
  12. you could do a full moss/wood tank

  14. ew.. why are their heads so big? lol
  15. they would appreciate a sand/finer substrate base, lots of hiding places and a preferably not too bright light/none at all. food would be things like bugs and worms I'm not to sure if it will be possible to sex them, although eventually the females do get quite bigger than the males depending on how long they will be in there, they should be fine with no filter/water changes for a few days. But anything longer and you will need waterchanges/ and a small filter HTH
  16. When you get annoyed that someone chucked out your 1.5/2.25/3L bottles that you had stashed in your room
  17. you could use epoxy paint to waterproof them?.. the same stuff people use for plywood tanks
  18. a good foreground plant would be something like dwarf sag., towards the back you could have things like swords and stems you would want quite a bit of wood, root like bits would look good in an amazon themed rocks if you want, .. a finer substrate also if you were wanting things like corys any plans for stocking as well? scaping it you could try and do something like a secluded/sheltered spot in a river, like the scape kind of running from a corner, a fair bit of substrate visible then a few spots of plants in that?...
  19. A planted african , methinks I'll be watching this one and is that a really big plant of narrow leaf java? o:
