It's hard to tell, if it doesn't seem to then you can always lower the water so the filter breaks the surface more. Hairgrass is good and isn't too hard to grow, some Java Fern would do well too. Driftwood doesn't need to be messed with.
I did a water change and algae clean up, found a couple dead and a few more shells. Then after the water change all the WCMM were acting funny but the shrimp seemed normal. I think I've lost another dozen shrimp from what I can see, maybe 30% shocked them? :dunno:
I think it's more about dissolved oxygen, do you have CO2 running on that warm tank? An airstone or filter breaking the surface?
I just recommended colder because the design of that tank looks like it won't disturb the surface much although I could be wrong.
Well if they're good little shrimp and eat all their algae then they can have something else
I'll try a variety of foods, cucumber, lettuce, pleco wafers, etc and see what they like. I noticed a few snacking on some fish flakes tonight.
Heaps of the snails made it into the tank, hopefully they'll chip away at the algae. Had a great time, the Koi were pretty cool too.
Yeah Godly I think I definitely got my daily limit
