Thanks, yes he is mine. He's more beautiful in real life. If the BN isn't doing any harm then let him be. Perhaps he does want to breed but it's not going to hurt him if he doesn't. -

This seems strange. I've never even seen my breeding pair do this. Perhaps he's just being friendly? Why don't you put a female with him? :lol: -

Flourite, yes? A very fresh setup, heaps of potential. Personally I'd have gone with larger rocks but if i had to use those rocks, I'd space them out a bit. Other than that, planting plan seems good.

You could do Glosso or Dwarf Hairgrass, they both stay small and spread well.

Did you push the rocks down into the sand a bit? That was one of my biggest mistakes, makes them look floating and unnatural :oops:

I think I've seen rocks like that on a beach before, I could break them open. Perhaps not the same kind. Yes, white vinegar. It's an acid so if it fizzes then the rocks are alkaline, if not then they are neutral. HTH

Is it possible to do a fishless cycle? I'd hope in a tank like this, large fish are avoided to keep a sense of scale.

Title Says it all, just fill in the blank with your reason of why you're addicted to fish. "One more tank" is your catch phrase.

I use builders sand from Mitre10 Mega. Just the coarse stuff, 25ltrs for $6

I've collected 17 of these locally recently. Image too big to post here, only shows 16 of the rocks but they should look good in my nano planted. Try to get a sense of size difference by comparing the lines of the towel. 8) http://i445.photobucket.com/albums/qq17 ... /Rocks.jpg
