    rocks

    May I ask, what rocks?
  3. Watch those gaps at the back. We have the exact same tank, bought it for tadpoles. Didn't cover up those holes once and we had 3 frogs on the carpet. They all lived but they might not have if the cat got them.
  4. Very funny  No, I didn't enter this competition. Not really my thing
  5. It being early afternoon and you being a mod, that post is easily removed. Now if it was really going to be a xmas prezzy and you hadn't just remembered it now, that's what you would have done.
  6. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=41574 Zev will install them soon, right Zev?
  7. Yes! That annoys me too. Also, to instead of too.

  9. @ Suphew. Decent and straight up answer. Thanks!
  10. Has anyone used this in their aquarium? It appears to be clay that's been super heated, good for growing plants? Thanks.
  11. Glosso and dwarf Eleocharis do well.
  12. Tried turning the lights off?
  13. If you've got something to say then say it BIG. Mum calls ALL my plants "weeds". She wouldn't DARE touch them though...
  14. I thought you sucked at Glosso Nick? :-? I hope someone buys my hairgrass, it'd be a shame to see it all thrown out.
  15. On another note, stop 'jacking my thread! I already have black sand ( Twinkles!)
  16. Well anyone would beat me at a 60x30x30 comp, my one is algae central right now. Blacked out for a week. Might rescape that one too
  17. Shouldn't you be encouraging the current tank competition Zev? We should have a tank of the month comp too! Once I sell the grass (hairgrass that is) I'll rip it right down, get a bit more sand and a heap of rocks. My biggest fault lies in weak hardscape.
  18. Glosso- Unruly, algae infested Heater- Bi-metallic strip sticks and cooks the shrimp who don't need a heater anyways Good Rocks- Not in NZL! Substrate- Too much nutrients leads to algae bloom Native Shrimp- For dinner because you cooked them with that cheap heater CO2- OD kills shrimp, not enough and the plants suffer Ferts- Too little or too much lead to problems T5HO- Too much lighting lead to more algae problems Water- Too hard, too soft. Not so easy now. Lets have a competition to see who can 'scape the best. Get one of these 40x25x27 tanks or similar.
  19. You can get it changed I think, is it worth the hassle though? It'd bother me if it was samh instead of SamH
