Yeah, only if you don't split it up enough! I have a 90x40 tank planted with glosso, got it all (except for a spot on top on the hill) done with one pot. Only catch is, it took me six hours cutting the glosso into pairs of leaves and planting them individually Perhaps a picture of what scapes you're talking about might help?

Perhaps once they grow almost too big for the tank, they are moved on. Sort of like an "advanced" fry grow out tank.

Oi! What are you doing up at this hour Charlie, in regards to the aquarium stocking calculator, it only calculates the adult size of the fish. So 20 adult CLs aren't going to make far more waste and take up heaps more room than 20 say, 15cm CLs. Hope that clears things up.

Unfortunately, no tropical shrimp, just the native specie(s). I've found nothing living really gets rid of algae, not even Ottos. Just keep up water changes, reduce lighting hours and scrub it off. Personally, I keep my display tanks understocked with 8hr photoperiods and hardly ever clean the filters. Never vacuum the substrate either. In my breeding tanks I do daily water changes though. HTH

:-? Really? I had fish from the same spawn that were twice the size of each other, maybe more. The smaller ones didn't make it but I read that it's not uncommon to have different sized fish from the same spawn.

I've found a good protein rich diet, warm, clean water and a bit of salt is good for fin wounds.

Isn't interbreeding when you breed random fish together? Correct me if I'm wrong. Perhaps try linebreeding if you have a goal (http://www.angelsplus.com/ArticleLinebreeding.htm)

It's fine to do that, that's how today's strains were created. Breeding father-daughter or brother-sister is quite common, it's actually quite desirable. It does have it's downsides though. Say the father has an awesome tail spread but a weak body, breeding him with his daughter may produce fish with big tails, but also weak bodies. That's when you have to "cross" with another fish, preferably from another line and not some random fish. HTH

See? These device fill the need. No need for a giant one unless you have impaired vision. Why bother with a super-sized screen when an ipod touch can do the same but smaller?

The general opinion so far seems to be no. People have phones and laptops, no need for a hybrid.
