  1. Here's the 7 week update. The photo quality is poor due to algae mostly, the brown algae has gone but has been replaced by this grey stringy variety. Will be nuking it with PP if it doesn't go within a fortnight. As you can see I added the 20 longfin WCMM from my other iwagumi and have ordered another 50 of them.
  2. It depends on money and availablity really. Corydoras julii are very pretty put their price tag is quite high!
  3. Manado is fairly light. It won't hurt the corys because it's fairly round but I'd be worried about them stirring up the aquatic mix.
  4. If there's any slope then you'll need a barrier to stop them mixing. Moss rocks are ideal.
  5. Look at making the path narrower as it goes further back, this will create a better perspective.
  6. Only 30? I'd be aiming for at least 50 for a decent shoal. Neons are timeless, harlequins are solid too.
  7. You view the tank from the front, not the top yeah? Designing it from the front will be more helpful.
  8. If you go to their website you will see it lists the hose dimension as Int. Hose so yes, it's the internal dimension. You should PM Camtang as he was trying to sell one he bought but never used, I think it's that size too. It'll save you a ton of money.

Picked up two 2x1x1' tanks and a free 43x23x23cm tank was thrown in. Here's my current stash minus my two biggest tanks.
  10. I think that's cause he moved them. Here's the album http://s1295.photobucket.com/user/Howsi ... t=4&page=1
  11. That tank is looking good, very healthy plants! Are all of the leaves moving?

    Wall to wall fish shelves?
  13. I'm rewatching it from the start with the misus, 1 season down so far.
  14. But there's still the second half of season 5 left

Cleaning out most of the rooms in the house, not doing a lot else so I agreed to babysit my girlfriend's Bichon today :nilly:
  17. And the goldfish doesn't eat the plants? You've got him well trained! 20L is only really suitable for Bettas or hospital tanks. Lose the fish, get the shrimp.
  18. The goldfish will need to be relocated shortly so why not use it as an opportunity to add some plants to the tank so you can house shrimp?
  19. That's one hell of a sump! Very clean work, as always.
  20. The Korall comes with what I would describe as low lighting so in short no, CO2 is not needed. Ideal plants for you would be moss, various java ferns and other slow growing plants. You could also give Ambulia and Hygrophila polysperma a go too. The light will only need to be upgraded if you decide to use CO2 but otherwise, leave it be. Also, welcome
  21. Here's the tank from across the room tonight. Almost ready to add fish, I'll move the 20 longfin minnows from my other Iwagumi before ordering more.
  22. Sorry to hear What's the future stocking plan?
  23. I can colour correct it if you like, it sounds like a white balance issue. Would you mind PMing me the place where you got your ferts? Thanks
  24. Neither does he, he was borrowing my Mum's lens  Pity he didn't take a FTS!
