The best oranges I've ever had was when I was in Rarotonga - their skins are green and yellow and the flesh is fabulous, not too sweet which Californian oranges always seem to be. Pity we don't get them here.

Sold a box of records on TM for $398 last night I had no idea I was sitting on a little goldmine and was thinking about throwing them out! The plus side is - they paid for the 3 month old FX5 filter I bought on TM which cost the same :thup:

I used it to be in touch with my son but I hate the PM thing on it (which isn't private btw) and he uses the chat thing which I really, really hate and refuse to use. I have tried emails or msn with him but no joy. As Mum uses the chat thing, she's in touch with him so can relay his news to me :-? I think FB makes people egotistical - all this "look at me, look at me!" stuff as they go on and on about stuff they're doing which is often very uninteresting. It's like reading someone's daily diary and what they do every day is very snoresome. I hate the spam too, I hide people who do nothing but share pics all day long :roll:

I think regardless of privacy settings, it still is very open to the public somehow as media can often quote status updates and I'm sure they're not friends with these people so privacy settings don't seem to mean much. Also, friends can tag you in pics without your permission which is also public (but you can untag yourself but that's a pain and if it's embarrassing and you haven't untagged yourself before all your friends see...) For example, my sister never uses it - she opened an account and that's it. She has about 9 friends. One of them constantly tags her in pics of her and as my sister never visits FB, she has no idea that pics of her are open for all her friends to see (and possibly the friend's friends who tagged her in the first place). To sum up: there's no such thing as privacy in FB.

How did you do that? A friend says can upgrade for $56 or something - that's either US or Aussie dollars.

Well that's what I thought about the tvs too so assumed that the remotes were touch instead of buttons. No-one gets up to change the channel anymore anyway :-? New software is always buggy when it's first released. But I'm happy with win 7 anyway so am sticking with it.

Everything's going touch these days - a friend was telling me that tvs are going that way too. The new windows 8 is touch.

Rummy noses are very cool and are always there in your face whereas cories can disappear or just sit around. Go rummy :thup:

I absolutely agree - it's not mine it's a friend's. Her mother bought the fish and bowl for her 4 year old daughter. My friend knows nothing about fish keeping so I told her to do daily water changes and what sort of food to feed them etc. etc., which she does, and to use oxygen shells which, from what Fishie says, will help alleviate ammonia so should be ok. What will happen when the fish get too big for the bowl will be interesting..... :spop:

It's for a goldfish bowl - so guess oxygen weed would be the best choice?
