Im going based of the fact that the woman says they were fine. True she could be lying but if she is being honest then Im thinking it wouldnt have been damaged and more cloudy eye. Besides you cant do any damage with treating with stress coat just for the moment and seeing if that works. Before going and treating with Meth.

I know that fish sometimes get cloudy eye due to stress, I found that with treating with just Stress Coat with the aloe vera in it cleared it up in the matter of days. It worked for Phoenix's Pictus Catfish when their eyes went cloudy. Didn't it Kash?!

I dont think you should be worried as when i feed my goldies some Tetra Granules which are terracotta in colour, sure enough their poops come out a vibrant terracotta colour. Same with their plant food for the week, the poos come out green.

Citronella scent is suppose to deter them. I also read somewhere that the more bananas you eat the more likely they are to bite you. Just thought I'd share that :bounce:

Just food for thought but sometimes its the suppliers fault too. They will often call a fish something its not but what it closely resembles. Happened alot in my experience. But in all fairness its also the shops fault too for not being able to correctly identify it.

I discovered this morning after my container of freeze dried bloodworms fell over, spilling worms everywhere that my rabbit enjoys eating these as I found him cleaning them up as I came back with the brush and shovel. Weird rabbit. So its Bubblegum and Bloodworms that I have to watch out for.lol

Oh wow Lyndyloo your in Levin, same as me. What part of Levin? Im on Queen Street. My rabbit is a house rabbit and he goes outside when the whether is good. I dont know if I am right in thinking but did I hear from somewhere the virus is airborn also? Or was I imagining things?

My rabbit loves grape chewing gum, not that I let him eat it lol. He can smell it a mile away and wont leave me alone when I have it.

Thanks for the warning Shadowfax. Even though Im not in the Taranaki region, I love my bunny too much to take any chances, getting him vaccinated was the first thing I organised when I got him. And just like a puppy maintaining his yearly booster shoots is important. I hope other rabbit owners will read this topic and get their bunnies vaccinated if they haven't already. It's horrible to think of someone loosing their furry friend to RCD because they didn't vaccinate them.

This happened today, I had finished work and was reading a text while I walked to the doors to leave work, walked towards the entry doors and stood there for a second, looked up from my cellphone when the door wasnt opening, relised it wasn't the exit, blushed a horrid red colour when I realised a workmate was standing watching me. Quickly kept me head down and half walk/ran to the exit.lol Oooo the shame. Stupid distracting cellphone... dont walk and read lol.

Thats interesting, it struck me as odd that it just suddenly appeared or should i say dissapear.lol This is a picture of the same pearlscale taken this morning. Her/His name is Smokey. :lol: The second one is off Pearl, she/he has not changed. Any hints on the sex's would be good I had thought girls but now Im not too sure.

Its not stress as they are fine and happy acting like normal goldfish should, this change has only happened over the course of a few weeks, so Im thinking its too fast for the goldfish to be maturing. As for temperture it's not that either as my tank sits at 26 degrees and Pearlscale Goldfish especially like temperature to be warmer than other goldfish do. Thanks for your suggestions but I think I'll have to put one back into cold water and see what happens as far as colouration goes. This is a picture of 2 of them when I first put them in the tank, I will take another one tomorrow so you can see what i mean.

No i know its not the temperature causing stress as the orange one is fine, its the black colouration that is fading on my panda's, which I REALLY didn't want to happen, as its happened with an orange and black one in the past, its always the black that fades.

I put my goldfish in my tropical tank after climatising over a long period and I've noticed that their colouring is dissapearing to their base colour. Im thinking this has something to do with the warm water and what I wanted to know was if I was to put them back into cold water, would their colour return?
