  1. Gosh, I don't know about the 'tude. Haven't you heard about the virgin chicken conception? Wait...what?
  2. Fantastic! Did you watch it being done? I really enjoyed watching
  3. So did mine. They made me bleed more than once.
  4. I'm a kid of the electronic age, I'm pretty sure my computer will not do well with stickers.
  5. Yup, she's super friendly and pretty smart. Well, as smart as a kitten can be, she's run into the same window aout 10 times!

    Lego fish tank!

Ick, not my thing. I like natural decorations, not silly pretend ones.
  7. Thats kinda what we were thinking too. She's been fantastic, she hasn't been hiding or anything and she slept on me for a while last night. She comes when she's called (well, most of the time) and seems generally happy. I know she still must be stressed, so her way of showing that she's stressed is not eating.
  8. Charlie didn't eat or drink anything last night, and she tried to eat her biscuits this morn but had problems chewing them. I soaked them in warm water this morning and she ate about 1/8th of a cup. She's got heaps of energy and she's peeing. It seems weird that she wouldn't eat because it's what she had been eating at the vet.
  9. Not a bad idea. I'm super forgetful with things like that. Charlie hasn't eaten or drunk anything since she arrived. She did take herself to the litter box though, and is currently asleep on my shoulder
  10. DOB 22/4 - I think that makes her 11 weeks old tomorrow? She's pretty small - 1.07 kg.
  11. Yup, she came wormed and she just got fleaed too. How often do I worm her? I forgot to ask the vet.
  12. Introducing Charlie - as in, Ouch Charlie, that really hurt!
  13. Yeah, people have un-spayed cats, and just leave the kittens in boxes outside petstores. It's sad. She's been home about an hour now and she's super friendly!
  14. She's just a tabby with lots of white on her. No name yet, we're going to give it a few days to get to know her
  15. We found a kitty we love. I'm picking her up after work today. She was abandoned at the pet shop. She's 10 weeks old, and was spayed yesterday. She's getting her first vaccine this arvo, and will be microchipped at her second vaccine. She's beautiful!!! Will put some pics up when I get her home.
  16. It's wrong, isn't it. Cats do just as much damage as dogs. Admittedly, not to people generally, but to other animals, birds etc. They should be restricted in the same way.
  17. They're obviously healthy then! Might be worth a vet check as they get older though, just to check on teeth and kidneys etc.
  18. My vet (well, my personal advisor, not my pet's vet as she's my partner's sister) doesn't recommend Jimbos or Max more than once a week because it's very fatty. Their coats can go shiny if they have a too high fat diet, so it doesn't necessarily mean that the cat is healthy. In saying that, if you've had no health issues, and they get other food too, it's not going to be worse than feeding say, all dry food or whatever. I think the key is make sure they get all of their nutritional needs, and not more.
  19. So there's not one brand that's better?
  20. We're going to look for a kitten tomorrow. Which kitten food do you guys recommend? We're happy to spend however much it costs to give kitty what she needs.
  21. Yip. I'm totally happy for it to be outside when I'm home, but not at night or if I'm not there to keep an eye on it.
  22. Yup, I don't want to get one too young as I go back to uni in a few weeks so will not be home some days for a period of about 8 - 9 hours. It's not so bad when they're a bit older, but I wouldn't want to leave an 8 week old kitten home alone for that period.
  23. I'd be really grateful if you would ask about for them for me BikBok, your kitties are beautiful!!! I'm so jealous!
