    I don't plan to be getting some any time soon but hyperthetical question you need UVB for nz lizards right ? but from what I've read/heard only desert dwelling reptiles need UVB through the form of a lamp or have I been told wrong by the way when I saaid that I meant keeping them in doors

    I use it in my frog tank it it a really good overlay substrate to go on gravel in frog tanks mine love it as long as you keep it moist the dried stuff just needs to be wetted you must be thinking of spagnum moss

    wasn't there but my friend cody in the states went and got two leopard geckos and a argintine boa constrictor this was one of the first reptile expos to feature venemous reptile would have been so coo

    that reptile expo did suck post reptile expos have up to 18,000 different kinds of reptiles and amphibians. thats why I hate nz And I mean HATE!!! will leave nz as soon as I legally can oh by the way the best reptiles expo is the hamburg reptile expo

    I love my mealies they all most seem attached to me and I like letting the beetles run around am almost sad when they get munched

    I love aussie and can't wait to move there when I'm older was never enjoying nz in the first place

    my brown tree frog taddies have recently fully morphed

    a friend told me about it and showed me thw auction as I said before I never saw the chameleons but my friend did oh and it was about 1 and a half months ago

    yep for the mini blue tounges they are called pygmy brown blue tounge skinks and are apparently very difficult to come by even in countries where reptiles are normal pets

    nope definitly for sale they were 2800$ each for jacksons and 4580$ for the leopards for sale in Christ church and you were aloud to go for a look and see that they were real my friend went to see them but not me

    are you sure thay had jacksons chameleons and leopard chameleons

    that chameleon is ausome I saw some chameleons for sale in chch recently are they even legal with out a zoo lisecence

    Really? I see green axolotls quite often las time was at papanui pets about 1/2 a month ago the weiredest looking one i've ever seen was a red axolotl

    well im 13 so I can't have a job but I do holiday pet feedings, paper run, and other odd jobs (I also volenteer at the mueseam in the holidays keeping the animals there they have a 280 litre fish tank and four awsome tarantulas

    some people will know this all ready but there is now a reptiles and amphibians section on trade me most of you won't care but it makes me happy that reptiles and amphibians are becoming accepted as normal house hold pets

    my two tadpoles have finally changed into frogs they still have small amounts of tail left but are only occasinally in the water they are brown tree frogs what would be the best food for them

    why is the potting mix so bad for the frogs is it poisonous to them or somthing or do you just not like potting mix on your frogs

    I usually just get cash for xmas as no one can remember the names of the things I want as it is often pyrotecnic equipment and chemicals with complicated names terrariums fish tanks and other odd things. WOW 300 hundred bucks for xmas? thats heaps

    what is best in your opinion substrate wise because I would like to plant his tank seeing the impressive setups from the frog tank post as his tank is not decorated well at the moment it is ok but could be alot better
