Hi I was talking to a guy at Bubble and squeak on stanmore Rd
about sorting out my BT tank.
He told me that the compact UVB bulbs are just as good as the long tube ones
are they ok do they provide enough UVB?
thanks
A good rule of thumb I learn't from one of the reptile keepers
at willow bank is that if the frog you want to keep with the others is
3/4 of the size of the other frog or bigger you should be fine.
Hi guys I am getting a blue tongue lizard for christmas this year
but my dad and sister also want a baby bearded dragon
(even though I will probably taking care of it because they have NO idea about lizards!)
but we wanted to know wether the two lizards can be housed together so we wouldn't have
to buy two terrariums.
Hi I just put my name down for a blue tongue lizard which I will be getting just before christ mas (an early prezzie )
but the thing was I got him from a website called insect direct does any one know the person who owns this site
do they have an account on FNZAS ? I would prefer who to know who is going to be breeding my lizard
cheers.
the other week I was doing a bit of fishing and found some mudfish/mudskippers (don't no quite what there called)
there were three of the little guys hidden under rocks they were very cool things I just thought I would say because apparently they are quite rare and we all love fish here.
from what I have heard locusts need heat of some form to breed but I imagine adaquate heat could be provided through putting them next to an oil heater. that was funny when I found you in hereford street reptile shop aye
This is horrible why would any one want to do that to animals they desewrve to have the same things done to them, I would do it my self if I found them!
mixture of things bran, seeds, crushed up wheet bix, bits of whole meal bread they are in an old plastic tub with ventilation holes about three times the size of an average lunch box
Hi ablut two or three month ago I started breeding meal worms for my pets (I have a fair few :bounce: ) and according to what Ive read and seen about breeding they should already me bettles. they just get REALLY big (2-3 centimeters long)
there are no bettles any where in the cage why is this so I have heard of things called super worms which get bigger and don't change untill put on there own but we don't have them here and I bought these from biosupplies.
What is happening?
After absolutly AGES!! of saving up enough money to get my blue tongue set up.
I have the tank now and am on to my lighting.
I would prefer to have some of those electical timer things to change the lights for me.
Where can I get these from.
Cheers.
