I did not think that the price was unfair I just had seen them for sale for a lot less and was annoyed that I might get ripped of for price as this has happened to me with many other animals like at animates I paid $95 for a cockatiel that I was told was hand reared but had really been an avairy raised bird that had little or no contact with humans

while I was looking a the fire bellied newts I saw the tank that it was in the make was exo terra and the model was PT-2600 the width was 30cms the diameter was 30cms and the height was 30cms I was wondering if this would be suitable to keep two japanese or two chinese or would they need somthing bigger as they grow? because I have recently seen these for sale for $75 and this is well with in my price range as well as being very good looking .

how much did you sell them to bubble and squeak for as they were being sold there for $80 but I don't know if thats to expensive or not iv'e just seen them on trademe for $40 could some one please tell how much should I pay for one!!!!!!!!!! :evil:

the choice I made was to keep some fire bellied newts rather than axylotyls my dellemia is that I only know the basics of keeping these animals like what to feed and what to look for in chossing one some stuff I would like to know is 1.could some one post a simple tank example 2.about how much water should I keep in there tank 3.would they be suitable to house with frogs 4.about how much is a fair price to pay for one 5.about how many would be good to keep together (hoping two or three) 6. I have a budget of between $150-$250 dollars is this a sutible price to pay for newts and tank if not do'nt worry if not I can go as high as $350 with a bit more saving :bounce: thank you! have you still got any left and if not could you suggest a breeder but dont put any on hold as it is still only an idea they would need to be ready a few weeks after christmas :bounce:

I don't think that pets that can't be handled arnt as good (how do you think I got along so well with fish) I just wanted to know as I did not want to hurt it as I love animals

your a bit far away don't ya think I'll probably get either a fire belly or a axylotyl from some where around me I also dont know much about these animals could some one post a care sheet on keeping either or even just some stuff I'd need to know

but does any one know if you can hold fire bellied newts as I pre fer pets which can be handeled

anyone know what salamanders and newts are legal in new zealand I already know about the axylotyls and fire bellied newts and does any one know whether you can hold fire bellied newts or not and I have my heart set on atiger salamander so can some one tell me if those are legal first thanks

my friend who does not have an account on fnzas has tank he recently got some dwarf gouramis and they keep dieing as he has made several attempts and they have died every time It is a 120 litre tank the make is juwel he has for filters and all the best stuff for his tank he does a near full water change every three months and his fish are constantly happy and healthy but they still die every time it is really getting annoying for him as he has been saving up for these fish for along time and they are quiet expensive so please can some one help him

wondering if I have to many pets you tell me 1.3 cats 2.1 hand reared cockatiel 3.millions of pond snails 4.one goldfish 5.one shubumpkin 6.ten tetra neons 7.six hatchet fish and a homing pidgeon that races any one else got this many pets

they are definitly silver but never mind just thought I could give it a try as I am very keen to breed some fish do you know of any fish that are fairly easy to breed?

Hey will I was reasearching bearded dragons on the internet but eventually decided not to get one well any way I heard that you can feed dead new born mice to beardid dragons as treats is there any one who does this and where would you get them or how would you kill them don't worry I don't think its inhumane or any thing just thought it seemed strange :roll:

sorry for causing a fuss I decided to get some new fish for my tropical tank instead so I can't get one any more

has any one got any tips on breeding silver hatchet fish also this is my first time breeding fish ever so what sort of equipment will I need and roughly how many fry should I be expecting for this sort of fish cheers

Hi I am snake kid (not really) I love snakes more than any other animals in the world followed closly by fish, birds and toads. my favorite snake is either the antiguan racer , reticulated python or the african rock python my favorite fish is the platinum hatchet fish or the pearl gourami my favorite bird is the resplended quetzeal (ask in your reply if you want to know more) of the pacman frog (this is a real so is the resplended quetzeal) I am also VERY good at science and Physics as I am only 12 and can easily complete NCEA year eleven work any questions about science or physics post it in the fun forum at the bottom
