erm... i do earn a decent salary, and my views on tax will not change just because im going to be paying the highest tax bracket when im done at the end of this year. any how this thread was not meant to be a dig at how terrible taxes are, or the pros and cons of taxes. Lets just leave it at this please - the whole cancer issue is a sore spot for me.

well you dont have to donate. you gotta pay taxes. left up to me we would pay even more taxes. nice to support people with cancer though. can only imagine how hard times are for them.

I LOVE sour plums! i wont eat any other kind! and green bananas. the bird eats them when they go yellow. on the other hand, i went and sold heaps of yellow daffodils today, along with stickers, pens, chocolates and balloons.

Daffodils are poisonous so he does not get one. they have a chemical in them that is like a laxative, and heaven knows that bird does not need it. :lol: he will get some other flowers and leaves to rip apart though.

I hope we are all donating generously. :bounce: Remember you can donate at any place in the country that is collecting money on behalf of the cancer society. That includes the people collecting money and the national banks around the country. 100% of proceeds go to the cancer society. best get donating then people.

yeah me too. we used to go around the neighbourhood and stick the door bells to the"on" position with celotape! was soooo much fun running around in the dark with torches.

I must say, I started reading this thread thinking, well its not everyday some one is happy with service - so happy that they want to tell the whole world. then i read on and was like oh, there is a valid reason for my usual cynicism, :lol: -

yes it is. but you get a plastic rigid straight form as well. I used to use it when i bred fancy goldfish - the eggs would fall through the grate and the fish could not get to it. alternatively, normal rocks will do nicely as well. plants fit in the crevices.

or you can use rigid chicken mesh like stuff. plastic grate. plan roots reach the water that way. I recommend using aureums as plants (or similar - peace lillys will do too).
