    OH DEAR!

Oh no! that's absolutely terrible! i am glad that no one was hurt though - that's a lot of water! how thick was the glass?
  2. looking at the spots I would say peruvians. however they are supposed to have very very long fins, and are not supposed to be curly. thus I say they are just angels. can't say what type as I can't be certain.
  3. slim chances of taming him - but he should get used to your presence. but at that age, I think he would prefer the warmth of a house.
  4. I think you need a mirror reflector in between the wood and the tubes. A rim on the wooden thing to reduce glare. And possibly rescape the tank on the RHS where its over grown. what is your vision for the tank? Apart from that I'm mighty impressed with you DIY skills. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: PS- fill the tank up more.
  5. I use the ones from the warehouse. they can be ok ish, but if you squeeze the plug a little bit it makes the connection a little tighter and then it doesn't come out. *Assignment!
  6. wooden air stones and fine ceramic air stones.
  7. nopes. that's not it. your bubbles are too big.

    3 foot tank

some of them also either add more sand to the tank, or siphon off the top laye4r of sand.
  9. If you guys think it is easy to ward off a humping bird, ill just lend you rusty for a day. you will never be the same. there aint no stopping them
  10. can't stay for long on here, as im falling behind on an assignment. But you do need to raise his blood sugar levels. either plain glucose, or honey will help. he may not eat it directly (in fact he almost certainly won't) so you will have to force feed him.
  11. im hoping you re arranged the tank when you put them in? if not, that is your problem AFAIK
  12. are you sure it wasn't a llama?
  13. you could upload it to youtube.. nice pics too. that alpaca / llama looks scary. they don't like me
  14. I dislike this dude - - he looks evil, and that smile is so forced, it makes me sick
  15. aww well that's no fun  (we need a new laugh smiley too)
  16. so a stud is a wall and not a horse? (I was wondering why you were measuring horses in meters)
  17. I can ID the parents easy. 10 babies from 1 spawn may be an issue. if its too technical i wont bother :-?
  18. i have yellow babies. lots of them, and the 2-3 mothers have been holding for well in excess of 2.5 weeks now.
  19. whoa. this sounds too complicated. right, so you take said fish. put them in a half filled bucket with water from their current tank. then you take some water from the other evil tank that they dislike. add some in. then you do some chores and what have you. come back, and add some more water in (maybe even fill the bucket with evil water). the whole process can take a few hours if you like. then plonk the fish in the new tank they did not like. they should be fine - if they are not - consider the possibility that an unseen contaminant is in the water (like aerosol spray). do not worry about your pH. I am almost certain something else is to blame.
  20. a building term? explain please  I took that in an absolutely terrible way.
  21. so i could register my e yellows? do i need 6 babies or 12?
  22. I can rein in 18hand horses easy as though  yep. your regular tall thin beanstalk. I get asked to change lightbulbs all the time. then there are curtains that need hanging - the service never stops. :-?
