  4. with the shrimp, do they not need a small amount of salt in the watter? If not I would be keen having a tank just for them as they are the coolest little things. The place I can get the from is a river going into a lagoon, so maybe slightly salty. I am going there with the miss and there a tons of them. If they are the rite ones I could catch a few for some people on the forum and drop off on the way back to Cambridge.
  5. Yeh it is hard to tell, but the owner of reptilz pet store in TA said she was and everything I have looked up on the net indicates that she is. Pluss she has a girl name now, she has to be a girl rite?..... lol.

  12. Hi there guys, we have a three year old female blue tongue and realy want to breed her. One problem tho.... No boy lol. 15. was interested in going for the bearded dragons as we have a huge enclosure for our blue tongue now and an average enclosure for our young dragons. Note def will not sell them, would only consider swapping for a bearded dragon. cheers
  16. That is realt cool to watch, thanks for sharing with everyone and it gives us blue tongue keepers something to strive for!
  17. rams realy love you guys dont they lol! good luck with the eggs they are such cool fish! Mark
  18. ok so after breeding catfish, cichlids, fighter and turtles... goldfish dont seem that interesting. I actualy dont know that much about them, due to the fact that most people put them in a pond and leave them to their own devices lol. Our ones spawned in the bath tub (outside) and there are reletivly large eggs stuck on the plants. When I saw them it took a while to figure it out but im sure it is the fish. I took about fifty stuck on plants, put them in green water in a tank inside with an air stone. You can see the little fish eyes and spines in the eggs, pritty interesting. So if anyone has done the whole hatching inside I would love some advice on what has worked for everyone. And hopefuly there will be a heap of free fish to go around the forum lol :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
  19. Will take one tonight if they are still there. It all looks like it is going good tho. Just need to get some microworms for them as my son or cat or something else will find the brine shrimp bucket lol
  20. My blue rams have spawned! They are in a comunity tank and protecting theor eggs well. As they are in a comunity tank I doubt the fry will survive but I will leave the parents to have a go with them before I move them into their own tank. Anyone who has bred them if you have any advice it would be great. I also have two other pairs that look like they will spawn soon also. Yay Havent bred anything in ages so this is bringing back old memories of how much fun this hobby is!
