  1. I thought it was his ability to have a single focus, and stick to it, no matter what, that made Nav so successful :rotf: :rotf:
  2. Apparently the Euro got saved as well, so the imminent failure of the western financial systems has been delayed / prevented. At least it made it to the news. If its not scandalous our main news outlets don't really want to know, hence all the attention.
  3. Reasonable doubt will be the key to this case I think. Especially based on the fact that we only saw what the media want us to see. And yes if there were more shots there would have been more wads, but from experience, that are difficult to find. If one was that organised, one could have loaded their own shells and used a paper wadding, that would never have been found.
  4. Yeah they only showed two on tv. One was found in the throat, and one by the fence. Which is how they identified the brand of ammunition. Oh wait, you said they were missing? We are talking about the Scott Guy murder. The jury may get a fuller picture than what we get on the tv. But if the dude says to the police, "if you get the person responsible for the arson and the badly spelt graffiti then you get the killer", and then the same dude owns up to the arson etc.......... It just makes you wonder. Whatever the outcome though, Nav makes a damn fine point.
  5. Pm raeh1 He had one for sale not to long ago. And to answer your question, I think so. Cheers
  6. The large Easter island heads that they have at every fish shop, even animates, will do the trick. Just lay it flat and it will go in there
  7. you mean fancy plec? or any plec, cause the commons will win hands down. TL or SL (or did I miss that)?
  8. Tom Cruise http://www.religionfacts.com/celebrities/tom_cruise.htm Isn't google great!
  9. yeah, just don't cross breed. That's the stuff for Josef Mengele. But you could at least make your own topic, this one was nice and clean!
  10. There are quite a few books on integrating new cats. I read a few when my semi wild rescue cat finally moved inside. It's been a 4 year project, and she mostly tollerates 2 of the 3 other cats now. There is heaps on the internet too. You just need to find a good cat site.

  12. this is a really good product to calm cats down. http://www.feliway.com/gb
  13. They might be sexable then Pics from the top and side on will be good. Oddly I find them really hard to sex as they girls seem to be fairly hairy on the pectoral fin. Like as hairy as the males. The males ( I think ) seem to have longer cheek odontodes (spelling). Perhaps all mine are male, and this is what is causing me an issue? You could also vent sex them, but I can never remember if the male has the pointy or the stubby vent, I think it is the stubby one. I am always very interested when folks have large ones of these, as they take a while to grow, and they don't bring in big ones. 3 of mine are 22+cm and the smallest is about 17cm. Another possible technique is to catch them out and put them in a square type container. Apparently the males will fan under stress conditions while the females will just sit there. Cheers
  14. That is a million dollar question..... How big is your L142? do you have a photo?

  16. Good work mods Not many pleco collectors out there anymore???
  17. North of you HFF have some nice H.Debilittera As far as I know, and I don't know everything, the recession gave the local breeders the bash, and everyone developed really deep pockets and even shorter arms, which is why any zebs have not gone on the market so to speak $350+....... (If there are any for sale then someone may contact you as no doubt they will be watching this topic), but there is some nice stuff being bred out there. And before you ask I don't have anything for sale at the moment either. Redwoods (in ChCh) will have access to the suppliers list so they will be able to tell you what they can get, and there will be posts on here from HFF (Holywood Fish Farm) where they quite often list their current stock, and usually provide photos. - Look in the commercial section. Cheers
  18. If you suspend the wood off the floor with the cave pointing at the ground, but all still in the tank, then when he comes out to feed at night he most likely won't go back in there. Cheers
  19. yes there are. They are 'up north ways from you' Not as far as has been discovered. They are mentioned in the article on Hypans on the main site. The expensive ones would be the zebras. The nuggets have been bred twice in captivity, and both of those were in Europe.
  20. yeah, I've been giving that a great deal of thought, indeed......... a lot of thought................... perhaps openness will encourage participation?
