First one was when I was 12 I got a small plastic tank and had a pair of guppies in it who bred. I loved it! But then we moved to Australia so I gave them to my friend to look after and they died R.I.P Sugar and Spice

I have just done a huge report at uni on "The use of 1080 as a pest control for possums in New Zealand" and I agree with some comments, they are pests, they are destroying the forest, but at the same time they are animals, its not their fault that the settlers released them for meat and fur trading. But then there is the fact that New Zealand's only native mammal is a bat and that all other animals are considered pests and pretty much can be destroyed with probable cause. NZ also has a HUGE feral cat problem. Absolutely massive, with cats roaming the forests and killing birds, the only difference between cats and possums though is that there are far more possums and possums also ravage the flora. I don't agree with any animal being shot for being what it is, but I do understand where the conservationists are coming from.

I would love to have a Cheetah if I had the space (lots of space) but I probably wouldn't so it would just be cruel to keep it.. Maybe a Serval because they're small big cats and are kept as pets around the world already, and apparently you can train them like dogs. Or I would love a wolf My bfs dad had pet wolves when he lived in Europe... Soo jealous.

Okay... I've narrowed it down to three ... Neons, Glowlights and Danios... Help? I really like the danios but I understand what people are saying when they say that the tetras are a lot prettier and nicer...

I've got... 4 Cats - Silver tabby named Joey, Tabby and white named Sammy, Ginger and white named Gordy and all grey CJ. 1 Dog - SPCA special - they told us dachshund (sp) x border collie - Benny and on my way home from uni today I saw a hedgehog in distress so picked it up and its now in a cat cage eating cat food and drinking pet milk... he has been christened 'Spike' My hobbies are: Music, concerts, reading, playing wth my animals... Watching movies... Yeah

Yeah, I've been watching my tank today and I have noticed how the neons and glowlights school together occasionally... I'll miss my Danios if I choose the two neons though.. Oh decisions

I'm sure by now they're well aware that the tank they have is too small for the fish... But as they said they are a beginner and they are learning this. The fish they have are probably small, and as they increase in size I'm sure they will look into getting a larger tank, so instead of telling them straight off that they need a bigger tank why not give them some helpful advice that they have asked for? (That wasn't meaning to sound rude by the way)
