knew some one that wud throw goldfish in with a silver aro coz it wasnt eating decided it liked the goldfish and evrytime you put a hand near the tank it would jump out thinkin u had a goldfish to feed so eventually he would just throw in pellets and before the aro knew what it was he had already swallowed the pellets

What i have sometimes found is if there is a dominant male the other males bristles wont be as long. also if fish are nipping them seen africans do it to common bns
