Ive had some in my planted tank for about 2 years and are quite large pretty sure I have more than what I started with but have never seen any breeing want to put them into a 2 foot tank and try breed them properly

Going to attempt breeding otocinclus. anyone done it before or have any info? Darn a wish I still had my marble one to breed :evil: Owell going to try the normal ottos so any help will be appreciated

the juwels are great and all but the tubes that come in the tank are average t5 tubes and the filters themselves arent very effective. better than most all in ones but still prefer to get everything individually.

personally I dont like all in one tank. prefer glass tank with nice QUALITY cupboards and hood as well as QUALITY lighting external filters etc. thats my opinion

I agree with David R. If you want a species so badly and have been waiting forever for it to become available most commited people to the hobby will fork out to try breed and make them more commonly available. Isnt that what hobbies are for? blowing all your money on them because you like it :lol: ? you want something someone else doesnt have or a sense of achievment for breeding something that is quite difficult? -
yea t5s are wierd. mine turns on all the time in summer but when winter hits it turns off after a couple minutes pull out leave for 2 mins plug back in and will go all day :-?

yea courgette is best I use to boil mine for the young so it was a bit more mushy and easyier for them to eat. make sure there is driftwood for them also!

doesnt look like anything spectacular but the fish he is producing are unbelievable! thats a lot of fish tanks

ph can drop for numerous reasons. im guessing its because the water may have not been changed in a while? -
if the indicating thing is not a law why do they make you do it in your driving test and if you fail to do so you fail the test?
