hey just browsing thru the website hehe, not much new here havnt been in a while i didnt even realise this wa smy thread until i opened it haha. Unfortunately i ended up not getting the fish as i went overseas.

im going back home for awhile.. was gona unregister on here but thought why? ill maybe access thew site from moscow but prolly not as i wont have my fish there.. gona leave it here with th parents.. just thought id say bye on the last day .. hate going sumwhere mayjor always loads of packing n planning to do but good now its al behind and i can finally eat free penuts on cathay pacific , however you spell it. has anyone been in hong kong? any particular places to visit there? reply fast i mite not be able to check the emails! :roll:

my brother liked flake food too, i got different food now he doesnt eat it. but my dog LOOOOOVES cichlid pellets when i feed the fish hes standing there looking at me waiting lol. so cute

well why not pay 5-6$ if you are really wanting these fish? people pay that much to get and import arowanas , and IMO tropheus are much better :roll: but thats just my taste.. i mean i personally would do that if i had the money..

i had val in my 30 liter tank a while back. never actually found lighting a problem. unles u trying out for a hard out massive planted tank yea.. =) whoopsy ,bed time!

im not sure what the probem exactly was but i turned the pump off and slept better and its much much more quiet which is what i wanted

ye IVE searched on them.. interesting mix.. itd be pretty cool to cross dif types of fish and creat something realy cool like people cross breed dogs and thats how heaps and heaps of dif breeds of dogs were created by mixing other breeds..

tried everything lol . it was on the foam for ages but still to noisy , both bubbles and the pump make tou much noise.. i had dif pumps but all annoying.. fish looks fine.. ive got quite alot of surface movement so should be fine..

well turned it off for a night again and they look just fine so ill leave it off for awhile...

oh if its too big i could just get rid of it ive got peacocks and 2 haps they peacful and prerry melow dont think they would disturb it much =) i shall try than n see how it goes if knifey will ook unhappy il just have an excuse to setup another tank :lol:

yea im talking about an air pump, whenever i turn the pump off they dont care at all.. ive got a built in filter that it set that water drips down from the top so it actually disturbs the surface.. tank is 200L and ive got 6 fish. 2 small ones and 2 medium and 2 big.. yea ive got a bubble wall ... i used to like it but now want a change and its too noisy..

Chris wants one badly.. but i cant set up anotgher tank for it ,would it be ok in malawi tank? or not...

Was just laying last night and couldnt fall asleep coz of pump noises... was wondering do i HAVE TO have a pump in a 200 liter malawi tank? ive got 2 filters going , together they do 2100l\h ... Weekly water change .. do i really need a pump or fish can do withought it? sumtimes i turn it off just for a night but too scared to leave it off for longer.. would be good if i didnt have to have it.. any thoughts?

it does suck quite unusual u know u come home and look at all your fish and i just got home and everyones fine just hes not there.. thanks ryan for your offer but i mite wait a bit ive got enough fish for now .slthough sooo tempted

well yesterday,in the morning woke up,turned the lights on ,wheres my lemon jake??? looked for him ,there he is laying dead and white ,dont know what happened the night before was laying there healthy as swiming around,eating,chasing smaller fish .. he was one of my favs too we think maybe he got stuck in filter pipe but hes two times bigger than the pipe so he wouldnt fit and there wouldnt be enough sucktion not even close to get him sucked in there.. even the tiny fish that i had in the tank didnt get sucked up... Just in case cleaned out the whole tank last night and changed pretty much all the water ,will get a big water bill in the end of the month. The fish is swimming in FULLy emty tank with two filters going and a bubble wall,did even put the coral or substrate in as going to get some silica, just cant be bothered with aragonite anymore.. instead of being white its turned to green\grey.. and stuff gets stuck in it.. yea.. maybe my lemon jake got bullied by dragonblood.. but i doubt he would kill him.. especially only in one night..
