cant understand if it looks better today or a bit worse.. hes just sitting in the corner.. with that eye.. hopefully its what you guys say and he will get better..

ove read yout thread and it doesnt actually look like he hit his eye on something or cut it the actuall eye is not damages i can see the eye looking at me thru that thing.. its just covering the eye...and stickes out more like a bubble..

yea mark looks like that,not as dark tho but def looks like this . one eye is fine the other one is like this.

Hey just noticed on my young lemon jake he has something over one of his eyes. its like a white blurry thing thats covering his eye. like a fog over his eye,it stickes out a lil.prolly blurrs his vision because he is sitting in the corner which is actually quite normal for him,he doesnt get bullied just sits there .. he was eating,it only appeared today.. what could that be and how do i treat it? i havnt got a hospital tank at the moment as my female is in there what do i do? the tank has pretty stable echo system nothing happened,i was cleaning it today as usual once a week thats how i noticed.. please help

wow ! i thought i was the only one who was dreaming and actually thinking of getting a shark i was even gona sell all my fish and get a shark that be so cool . but of course couldnt find one. and then forgot.

my dad had a fishtank wall.everything from cold water to marine so here we go how could i NOT get into fish? :lol:

i had silica in my 4 footer.i loved it but then when changed the tank sand went with the tank.. now cantt find that sand anywher.ive got aragonite and its growing algae on it... even tho its very very fine. never had that problem with silica,also if you want to get rid of things IN the sand just put your fishnet in there grab some sand and sand will come thru the net but other things wont so good. miss it.stupit aragonite.. :evil:

Well so i came to Hff today and there was that marbled peacock that got beaten up by another one.felt so sorry for him so decided to buy.asked for a discount,got a 10 dollar discount,still iverpaid by like 30 dollars :lol: but felt sorry for him,took him home now hes in my male only peacock tank =) looking good and swimming around. such a nice colour. hes got black spots of course,but hes not yellow,more like reddish orangish.quite nice,hope he will colour up even nicer when grows up. will put up a pic of him when clean my tank :oops: hehe

i had 3 danios like this back in russia,they were fantail and had a curved back,i think that made them look very stunning. and they were healthy and happy and breeding ,but the babies got eaten by other fish that was in the tank. so i never saw them grow out so couldnt tell if they were same with curved backs or not. i dont think its a problem,i assume it sjust a type of danio..

DECORATING THE TANK OR NOT DECORATING IS TOTALLY UP TO YOU if you want you can. i decorated my fry tank only coz i dont have a spare room for tanks and they are around the house so everyone always looks at them and i want them to look nice 8) but yea it is harder to catch the fry you wil have to get everything out and blah blah blah.. but its up to you. WHen i had zebras it didnt realy matter if i changed the rock work befire i put fish in ,if there was a fish that my zebras didnt like they would attack no matter what.. but its always worth a try. And yea its better to leave her in the tank for a while feed her up give some rest.. in that case yea put something in thet ank that lil fry fish can hide in just in case...

not sure about them but i remember i heard my fish was vegetarian and tried feeding it meaty foods and my fish loved it but eventually got a bloat. as i found out later it was from meaty food. i was giving feeding the fish jst that meaty food when i should have fed them with mostly vegetarian foods. Oh that fish died eventually. with a bloat. So if they vegetarian but still enjoy meat ,still give them vegetarian stuff just not to risk

well zebras are pretty agressive in general,i had heaps of problems with thier agression thats exactly why not keeping then anymore. What i would reccoment to do is put your electric yellow into different tank where she doesnt get bullied. or an empty one if you want to keep the babies. she will spit them out in her own time into the empty tank. If you will levae her with zebra she mite ( im not saying she will) get killed,so I personally wouldnt risk. What i would do is put her into an empty tank,if in about a week she doesnt spit the babies out ,i would strip her.Altho im not sure whats the earliest it is safe for the babies to strip the fish.. :roll: thats why i sed id give it a week so incase she JUSt started holding . THey will prolly come out still as partly an egg..but i saw people do that ... yea.. hope that helps.

Ive got one like that from mike as well =) mine is fully yellow as well,so beautiful now. and about the other lemon one ive got something from Mike that starts to look like that fish as well. coloured yellow fins and next to gills and blue body. But on my fish yellow is not that light and bright its more dark yellow.. still beautiful tho =)

yea ill post some pics on here WHEN i set everything up tho... my camera sucks tho so pics wont be extremely good..

maybe he wants to get something out of it? like create a new good looking type of fish or something.. who knows thats just weird.. or maybe hes short on females

yea well im buyign them for a separate nano tank that im setting up, its small and they dont need too much room anyway.. they soooo gorgus tho...

oh already started talking about breeding =) I dont know if they available anywhere else i just saw them at hff in mt raskil,and yea it was kinda weird coz there were only males in the tank didnt see any females.. but who cares i dont buy them to breed them.just coz they look nice.

Ive been to Hff in mt raskill last week, i already sed that somewhere here that i saw some nice guppies there. thats the first time i saw ones like tht. they yellow with pinkish with green as well on them,very bright and small. oh and looks like they got one of those tails like swordtails do, but the swords are on top and bottom. and coloured brightly as well. so they dont have big tails like usualy but they sooo so so colourful.
