goldfish can handel a wide range of temps.from frezzing to max of 30 degrees.so i dont think it whould be temp.

ive got a spare 600l tank and im fulling planting at the mo.so i like to put a lot of colourfull fish in it.thats not too small or not too big. that why i though of rainbows if you have diffrant speices can they get along to together.and how many in a school.

does any one know what type of rainbow fish you can get & how ready avallable are they in nz.

low oxgen cont in the water can cause the problem. as goldfish need high oxgenated water more so than tropical fish.

im just saying do your homework before builting ponds as the council here are lot stricter up here.

hay i hate to be a party pooper but osh call them pools but councils may not depends on councils in your area as they may be have to be fence. so check it out before you start as there are big finds if they dont comply. they will know if you got a pond buy arie potos they do every year.

ive decided on malawis.all male tank.how many can i have in that size tank.1500*540w*700h.the tank will be running two fx5 fillters. and what do you recken of 10 of each species and what makes a good community. also will bristle noses will be find in there as iv got lots of babys.

livingart you proble got more bite than that dogs got. run a hot wire around if thieft are still there in the morring holing onthat wire get the cattle prope out and give him another shock.

i want to set up a commmunity tank with five or six of each fish and species may be more if possible any suggest for max of that tank size as it going to be a display tank.if babys happen add bounus.
