you can use a ice cream container make up the salt mixure and put the fish in and leave him in there for a couple of minnites or intill it makes it uncomforatble for the fish and put him back into your tank.as the salt bath kill the micorginism,it dose work..

make a salt bath and i catch the fish in your net and useing a eye dropper treat the area. and put back in to your tank two table spoon of salt per lirte of water. that what i do when fin rot and i use this method on wounds ect,

this why im asking about breed tanks so i have anuff room for them so they do have defomed fish. or problems with them.i have set my self a goal to set up the best fishroom i can.so in two years time my fish will be perfect,,,,,,thats what i aim for they may not be for sale but i will be happy with my results. 8)

what are you tailking about as i have no crap fish. :evil: as the one that have defeormities become feeders for my larger fish or the cat to play with :lol: im not into interbreeding as i add other fish from other places to stop that.so my strains of fish aint shagging there bro.so i can keep the quality up and no mongrels...........become food,,,,,,,so there. :evil: :evil: i see it all the time in pet store they have defeorm fish in there tanks that should of be destroyed before they get to the stores that my opinion,

what i look for is health and colour of fish all so no defects as im getting fussy what i get these days as i dont mind waiting for the rigth fish.. iv got anthor 40 years left in me so i can be fussy what i get,,

the fish i want rto breed are discus blue gourami whip tail cats silver dollars tetras platys guppys plecs and bristle nose kribs also later on a couple of ciclid. so my questen is for each speices what size tanks whould be ideal to beed in and bring up young.as i got all breeding pairs. as im think to set up a fish room.in the way of a chiller contaner or a old milk turck chiller. how many tanks for each speices. cheers ant

what about pepper cats /croys they can handel lower temps, , as ive got them in a goldfish tank with no heater all year round, and had babys,

what size is that sump, also what size tank is it running.

they wherent in a rock pool, theres a little cove here that has fast running water though it .at low tide the water is about your wast.its not nz black corals. the rock that they are on just the top stick out of the water at low tide.the length is about 20 foot long,and theres two of them,/ so how do you get them off with out damage them, cheers ant,some of them look like bubble gum corals and stag horn and sponges and hepes of sea fans etc,

my mate father heated there 30.000 liter pool by puting solar panel on the roof of the house and black tubeing running the length of the house back down to the pool the pool run about 20 to 24 drinig witier and 24 to 28 during summer. as the heater only run when the pump is on,,,,
