  1. as Clint Eastwood would say "you just have to ask yourself one question, do you feel lucky" if it is recessive you may have to try more than one female if they are blues when doing colour varieties is always best for the strain to bring a normal back in every couple of generations, makes the line stronger or if you can start with 2 lines with unrelated out crosses to further strengthen the strain good luck and may at least half the babies be golds

  13. was purchased as lithobate pair fish is now 8 years old, got him and female about 4 years ago he's over 5 inches lost partner over a year ago over last 2 years his blue has extended over all his body and dark spots have all but disappeared his fin stripe has always been white may not even be litho at all

  15. redid malawi tank, needed a clean changed position of powerhead to sweep under rocks and added some new fish and removed brichardi babies now the smaller front swims with the rest
  16. haven't had a problem with small tanks 1metre long and under big tanks can be a different story in my experience how old was tank before it went into storage ? i think there is a guarantee on silicon tubes of 10 years but not too sure of that more experienced glass people might know
