    fish trap

    gannet made one of these to catch young fish in the big malawi tank worked very well but trapped 2 leleupi together, only one looked nice when we emptied the trap :oops:
  6. went rockpooling with gannet and his gf yesterday group of small anenomes on seaweed group of anenomes on rock each one 1 - 2 cm across large white anenome brown centre nudibranch these are uncommon - pink dahlia

    you could join the birds that migrate to nz each year, i think they don't get checked by biosecurity when they arrive, no ERMA paperwork either watch those starlings though they are a rowdy bunch, they think they are better than other birds with their shiny coats
  16. platinums in nz seem to be albinos overseas polypterus sites have them as black eyed white senegals
  17. it stains porous materials, coral, shells your tank glue don't know about aragonite, it is a pretty hard materia but my sand has been alright left coral out in sun then bleached and it came back to almost white again

  19. it should settle down, if not as afrikan said time out for the offender may help like us humans you can get a stroppy one every now and again
