  1. setup a tank to 30 degree place eggs in icecream container with plain potting mix or vermiculite not too wet, just moist cover with a plastic bag with air holes and leave for 8 to 12 weeks works for me
  2. you know the saying about assuming things everyone was quick to jump on andrew without knowing the full story i can house smaller aros as well and soon will be able to house 1.2 metre monsters aros are also a bit different as they are able to turn in 1/2 their body length

Caroline hand reared 3 herons last year Harry came back comes in each day for a feed, still eats out of her hand DOC officer was in dropping off a penguin and couldn't believe it when the heron landed next to him on the fence, he reckons Harry is a teenager drops in for a feed and then leaves again at least he didn't bring his dirty washig as well
  14. Shardak gave birth last night, we woke up to the yelping of puppies just 5 this time but all healthy, her 3rd litter she was looking uncomfortable in the heat yesterday looking happier today
