Just found some river sand in the garage, leftover from big tank, so i geuss i will use that Im really in a hurry to set it up. Will keep looking for the daltons though, cos il be moving this tank soonish anyway.

Does anyone know where to get daltons Propagating sand at the moment in CHCH? I want to setup a tank today but cant find any.

I think they would be a good tankmate once they are bigger, but most at petshops are only 3cm or so. So maybe a grwout tank first would be a good idea?

lol, Sorry! i didnt get back to you about buying some keyhoels, i got a bit busy with tanks and stuff and dont really have the room at the moment

You like the bigger cichlids too by the looks of it lol, Im more into South American Dwarfs, and Angels etc. And tangs are cool too!!

Just go to the Avon or heathcote, and put a net through the oxy weed, and you will get heaps! of shrimp.

So tank can go on the stand without polystyrene? I was going to put carpet inbetween the plastic cos i have a piece that would fit perfectly, would this be ok?

What can i use for a stand for aqua one euro view? I have the 120L 75cm one. And it has plastic around the top and bottom edge, But if i put it on a flat surface im scared there will be too much pressure on the centre. So how can i do it?

The number of All the corys, whiptails and cardinals will be increase when they go into the 300L south american. And the kuhlis will be increased once the tank is down to Asian only fish 8)

These 'fry tanks' should really be labled as "Livebearer Fry tank" cos thats what they are.

Yes. They might try to spawn though. But will have heaps of plants, but might have to seperate the male.
