Some people say they can, But I say they cant, Ive had 3platy,2guppie and about 6 leopardfish males together for about a month or 2. No hybrids(that i can see) and the Leopardfish are trying to breed with everytihng

Ive got Heaps of it in my leopardfish tank and its impossible to get it out cos theres 6-8mm fry in there :-?

I tried this, It just ended up building up to a 1cm thick layer ontop of water in other places.

Or if possible and if the tanks atleast 100L, Buy/borrow and silver dollar and take out the plants you want kept, and it will be gone in days.

For a small tank(hint hailea) Would a thin layer(1-2cm) be alright just for look?

Ive seen my Bolivian Rams eat snails before, But only when the snails were moving alot.

Make it a Asian Tank 8) Barbs, Danios, Gourami, Loaches etc. And if the tank is big enough, small spiny eels?

Because it 2 different species, not just diferent colours, it like breeding a Orangatan to a Gorilla(even if its not possible) it produce hybrids, and thats not good for the hobby

Welcome!, Just want to let you know That if these fish are opposite Gender they can crossbreed and this is not a good thing. Dwarf gouramis would be good in this setup, but the Black ghost knife will only be good when small because they will eat small fish. Other fish like Rams,Small tetras, danios, corys would be great in this setup aswell. Would be cool to see some pics.
