  1. It'll do until the next rat photo shoot.
  2. As long as he doesn't get his hair messed up I'm sure he'll cope
  3. Yay for photos, I want copies of everything! I was too busy to take my own photos :-?
  4. Man I'm sooooo tired. Great fun, but exhausting for me. Mmmmmm, that buffet last night was awesome eh.
  5. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee conference is so much fun! I'm loving seeing everyones smiling so much and having a great time, makes all the hard work worthwhile. Orana park & the Aquarium tomorrow! :bounce:
  6. That's fine, officially registered conference goers food is included in your registration. Only non-registrees need to bring food if they want to share the stuff we've all paid for.
  7. It's not DOC, it's maori groups that have been pressuring to have them protected. Although pretty lame of DOC to relent >_>
  8. Eeeek, frosty this morning. At least that means it'll be a glorious day, hope the fliers enjoy the view of the Southern Alps
  9. The reason I asked is 'cos it was on the same series of discs that also had a demo of X-com UFO so it reminded me... I've been trying to remember the name forever, it's bugging me.
  10. graphic. The background was like the inside of a roman style arena, and the fighters were in front.
  11. Nah, it's not that. I think my game is a little older cos it was less detailed. Thanks for trying though
  12. Ok, cross your fingers for a fine day so we can see the baby rhino. He's only outside if it's nice. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... 23&ed=true Btw, you can bid for his naming rights. I see the jerk who owns calendar girls is bidding, I was telling Humvee a few hours ago I bet he would. Ugh. Hope the baby doesn't end up with a corporate brand name.
  13. Does anyone remember an old dos pc game, I used to play a demo on on of those 100 games discs... It was a fighting game and the characters were things like a golem, an eyeball, a lizard man, a cyclops, all sorts like that. I *think* it was one word and began with a weird letter, like Q, X, Z etc but can't remember. Possibly from mid-late 90s. I've been trying to remember the name for ages, have googled, looked on abandonware sites etc but can't figure it out
  14. I am torn between excitement and stressed out. I can't wait to see the cake though, Mummy's cakes are always awesome. Hey, we can use any leftovers from Fri night for morning tea on Sat... especially if people who don't need to bring stuff insist on doing some baking.
  15. Mmmmm, yeah bring custard! Seriously, no outshining of the grand birthday cake is allowed
  16. I would recommend one, I learnt the hard way what might happen if you don't. It's bad enough having your new fish die let alone your whole tank getting infected and having half your old fish die too! A small tank with a basic air pump operated filter should do. And a heater. Leave it bare bottomed and just have a couple of ornaments or rocks or fake plants the fish can hide in.
  17. We had this same topic a month or 2 ago, do a search and see what people said back then?
  18. I love suzuki swifts, have always wanted one. They're so fun and easy to drive.
  19. I don't want anyone to bring another cake, you're not allowed to outshine the one I'm organising > Geez, just bring a bag of chippies or something.
  20. No, I doubt the hotel will look kindly on this... Ps Officially registered conference attendees do not need to bring a plate anyway, your food is paid for from your registration fee.

  22. http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/cutestuff/3759382/Orana-welcomes-baby-rhino eeeeeeeeeeeee I hope we are able to see the new born rhino calf! So cutie!
