i reckon a species tank works best with maybe some dither fish to ease them a bit and so they don't target each other quit so much. you could even put in some cuckoo syno's if you wanted. in a species tank you can focus solely on their diet as well which might be easier...
yeah fantastic! how many duboisi do you guys have going now? :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: mine are starting to produce some decent broods...got 9x 1.5cm, 9x 2.5cm, and now x14 wrigglers! 8)
i just used a thin tupperware type circular plastic container. used an airstone positioning it further up for less flow and further down for more flow. then adding a drop of methylene blue for fungus prevention. container should be circular to avoid eggs getting stuck in a corner. for tropheus i read that if tumbling them you shouldn't let them bounce just sort of roll about and ive had quite a bit of success recently. sold nine babies and have another nine well on the way
is this dried shrimp stuff they sell at pet shops the same stuff they sell at thai food markets? i saw some dried shrimp for making pad thai and its a very small fraction of the price.
Dixon, are you basically saying, (i'll use an analogy here) that it's wrong for a black man to marry an asian woman or an asian man to marry a black woman?
they don't look too bad to me. why have you got a diffuser going that heavily? doesn't it drive off the co2?
blue hygrophila (lacustris) is the name. you may find that u lose a lot of those leaves as it may have been cultivated emersed. but u've got some good new growth happening!
