  1. looks good. What plants are you thinking other tyhan the ones you have already? 40 watts should be fine for low- light plants of plants- Java ferns, Java moss, Anubias etc. I am currently planting out a 300 L tank with just 40W of lighting and it is 60 deep. Glosso and Riccia will need highter light though/
  2. Not after Ambulia but anyone have any low light plants I'd be very grateful
  3. cool cool. I just did the same thing at my house a couple of weeks ago

  5. give me a pm if you want me to show you round the displays I manage at the Auckland Museum. Unfortunately I won't be able to show you the big behind the scenes enclosures because of Quarantine restrictions etc, but I'll happily show you around the Displays. (We have Northland green geckos, brown forest geckos and shore skinks) (As well as Seahorses, Bees, Eels, Locusts, Spiders, Frogs, Cockroaches, Wetas, Native F.W fish and Crayfish, Native aquatic insects, Crays, Crabs, Starfish, Kina, Anemones etc )
  6. should be fine as the chlorine would instantly be diluted when you put it into your tank.

  12. Doesn't matter as much in a marine tank about getting rid of good bacteria Alan, Mechanical filtration isn't such a big deal (As long as you have a decent skimmer). Filter wool comes in big bales if you want to get more. Not sure where from. Micron filter bags are another idea. Attached to the overflow
  13. I think I will try it aye. Thanks Alistair. BTW all the corals you gave me are doing well. That small blue/green acro frag you gave me has not really coloured up really so I have moved it slightly higher to see how it goes. The pink cats-paw coral browned out a bit but is now bright pink- Awesome!
  14. yeah i can do that too
  15. Is it the TLC Marine SAT in the red bottle? quite cheap aye. Might talk to Michael at PetPlanet. Quite cheap and looks like only one part- unlike the other brands which have lots of different parts

  17. I didn't know TLC did a bacteria range? Do you know who sells them Wasp? I have been wanting to start Zeovit but I feed heavily...
