Bumber we are at the other end of the country lol, plus I don't think I have a big enough tank, I guess these guys are pretty agresive?? I might see if the goldfish bowl has any baby golds when I go up next as they did last time, it would be pretty neat to see them grow up

I have kribs in with blue rams with no problems at all, but they were in a 300ltr tank so I don't know what they would be like in a tank half that size??

Interesting thanks guys, I know what you mean Alan and Sharn, I don't support anything usually like that but when I first saw them and liked them heaps I didn't realise that they were "human made" so now i'm finding it hard to not like them. All I keep thinking is its not there fault so they deserve to be in nice homes too..... I'm a little torn on this subject :-? I wouldn't buy the "Buterfly Parrot"/"flower Parrot" as I think its not right trying to make a picture on the side of a fish but yea I duno i guess its the same fish in the end.....

hes 15cm's so hes kinda big.... thats why i'm asking extra questions lol. I might give a couple pet shops a call and see if they can get them in and what price.. 8)

Oh wow so you had them in a community tank??? Interesting I have read they should go in with cichlids in one place and then another place saying they can't fight back so shouldn't. :-? What size tank was it?? Did you have any smaller fish with them?? Also what size were they?? Hot water, will soften the hose if it doesn't move the gunk and then you can 'work' the hose to get it out. How did it get in there?

has he got his own hiddy hole? maybe theres someone else in there? possibly put something in front of the entrance (not blocking him in :lol: )so he feels more secure??? I'm a little stumped as mine were happy when they had there hiddy hole

he needs a hiddy hole where he cant see the other fish swimming past, they are funny little fishies that like chasing and anoying other fish - I don't think another shark is the answer as the less dominate one with get all the attention (and that won't be good) hopefully someone will be able to help out more

just keep up your water changes and they should be fine. nice mix of fish

I have bristlenose's in with mine and they don't even notice they are there, lol i don't want to risk putting GBA's in with them though, just encase.
