What sort of glue\sealant can I use to attach rocks and plexi glass\arcrylic together?

I want to do something with a slate like rock in my tank, I want layers stacked and glued,is slate alright for this?, If not what else could I use and where could I get it from?

It is on the all the sucker thingys in the tank, the short piece of pvc tube I used in the filter outlet, the black ring around the top of the glass on the heater and the inside of the green pvc tubing used on the filter, this is mostly on the intake side of the filter.

My tank is cycling at the moment, but I can see white flaky looking stuff on the inside of the filter pipe. What is this?

Ive had problems with my other tank and so I dont really want to use its media. I dont like the idea of using fish and so want to use food. If I simply add food to the tank will it start collonizing? How much food? Thanks AD

Thats what I wnat to do evil (with the food) Ps . alanmin not on chch supply, salt is tonic, not table salt. evil, do you use stress zyme as well as food?

d i need to wait 24 hrs for chlorine to dissapate before adding stress zyme? should I add tonic salt? and Is there any one out there who has cycled with fish food? Thanks..

but hasnt fish food got lots of ammonia. What actually introduces the bacteria into the tank?

Thanks adodge think I will use daltons aqua mix and small dark gravel on top, Will say 30mm of aqua mix and 40mm of gravel be alright, or should I go for more aqua mix?

I am planning on using Daltons aquatic mix with small 2-4 mm gravel on top. How thick do I need Daltons and how thick for gravel? How thick do I need gravel? and Where can I get gravel? Thanks, any help would be appreciated
