they wer a mixd malawi tank at a lfs they wer totaly differnt to the other fish in ther so i thort id get them so hybrids lol?

what kind of filter have you got running? also have you tryd p-clear? cleard my 6foot within 2hours! nomre haze now just crystal clear water

There's four species. The ones i named there are the two common ones so I'll assume you guys probly have one of the two. Yours have 8 bars so they're Datnioides Quadrifasciatus Microlepis has 6-7 bars depending on origin -

mine just spawnd! lol my males dorsal fin is mostly yellow but none of the yellow carries on down to his head at all like the ones in the pictures :-?

alredy got 2 commons that are about 40cm sailfin 25-30cm and a choc plec 25-30cm but want sumthn bigger

will sand from the beach raise the ph?, sand is a gold colour and collected from up north very clean . i wana use it for a planted tank will it be ok or nar?
