Her and the male have mated again, but she still have the egg tube, did she not get rid of all her eggs? Is this bad?
Im also too scared to do water changes on the tank the babies are in, in case i suck them up coz they are so damn hard to see.
what do i do?
just leave the water a while?
I have a pair of bettas who mated on friday the 28th april. the eggs are now hatched and the parents are in their own tank (with a divider between them), hes hard out making a nest and ive been feeding her up. when can i put her back in to be mated again?
Thanks.
ok ta. I had to put a separator in the tank coz the other fish were starting to bother them and eat the eggs. the water movement upset the nest a little but he just made a few more bubbles but the eggs are ok. how big are the fighters when they hatch and how long before they hatch?
they seem happy enuff in the tank, ive just done a water change. i might give them some brine shrimp. hopefully wen i get my new tank up and running htey can go into that coz its bigger.
What other fish do you have them in with?
Just want to know what they look like as adults and how to sex them. I have one but dont know what sex it is.
i have seen your pics but can u pinpoint which one is a female and which one is the male?
Ta
probably is planaria, sounds like it, she doesnt know if they came from the fish or not.
ill let her know what to do.
One person has taken a number :-?
I have been telling ppl about it tho.
can u come and inspect the tanks at work and let me know what u think?
i had a large angel with it, i treated it with whitespot cure but it did nothing, but the fish didnt get sick or anything and it didnt spread, it just had whitespots on it.
also got a red chromide with it, chromide looks a wee bit sad tho
mmm ok interesting......the reason I ask is that I had a customer that had worms in her tank, they were tiny little white ones, no idea what they were called tho.
So maybe just a general wormer would do the trick?
we used to sell a product called Cure-ex which did a lot of diff worms, we still have some left for shop use. but what about customers.
I might ask at the vets when i get some spare time.
