note the third photo in the top row, thats sort of blue? http://images.google.co.nz/images?hl=en ... a=N&tab=wi. they dont look blue to me! :-? ours are really blue. most of the normal apistos around here go for approx 20-40 dollars, 40+ is for the higher quality but most average around 30 for sexable. ours are $16.90 p.s. i owned that lutino oscar in animal antics, had to give her up cause man was she a biartch!

i have 3 baby guppies in a 20L tank. they seem to be taking forever to grow! maybe i should feed them brineshrimp? or will they grow faster in a bigger tank?

ha yes they are pretty pricey huh? I sold one today (I work in a petshop) and the people didnt blink an eyelid at the price! I iwsh I had lots of money :-?

Ive been given a fish. Im pretty sure its a dwarf cichlid. Its got a brownish body with a horizontal dark black stripe through the middle and then lighter horizontal black stripes underneath the dark one. The fins are an orangey colour. at the mo its about 2-3cm in size.

the Blue-faced Agassizis I was talking about are indeed apistogramma inconspicua (as indicated by the supplier. Antwan saw them and told me they werent agassizis. So I did some research. the inconspicua isnt blue. (well in the photos they dont look like it) and the one exactly like the one i have is apistogramma agassizi - blue faced variety. So which one is it??????? How much do these usually retail for?

My male has long finnage. Does this mean hes old?? Will bettas breed in a community tank? Or do they need their own tank?

I had a problem with my mollies sitting on the bottom and swimming funny and stuff and it turned out that the water temp was too high (26) so i turned it down to 23 and now they are fine! i lost a lot of mollies before i realised this! :oops: maybe you should check the temp?

I have a friend who has 2 black axolotyls. when she bought them they had big white patches/spots on them. the man at the pet shop said this was normal. those white patches have got worse and are now growing what looks like a fungus on them. does anybody know what this is and how to treat it? the axolotyls are very lethargic so please help!

is she full of eggs? will she die if theres no male around to fertilise them 4 her? or i did hear that they just absorb the eggs if they arent needed. is this true?
