yeah most of them closed up after...probably eating what they caught! Did 25% water change today to be safe and cause ph has been slowly shifting this week :-? amazing how much crap can be syphoned out from under rocks and no current spots

speaking of growth I went to cookies yesterday for the first time in 6 months and man it looked awesome!!!! its soo nice when colonies really take shape.

Fragged three of my xenias that are growing to big, couldn't find my cotton so I stuffed the frags into holes / cracks ect in rock for meantime. One came loose and got minced through a power head. It was only a little fella but made a mess!! question is should I do a big water change or will it not pollute the water too much ? Thanks Shane

I've got those, there tube worms if you stir up the crap in the sand they cast out fishing line type things and catch a feed.

I was about to start a topic on the same thing. My problem is my clowns! they seem to binge, and I mean binge!! I am trying to train my bangaii to eat gro granules but he still refuses so I feed mysis shrimp and my clowns beat everyone to it and get so fat that they lay belly up on the surface fast asleep. They look like they have swallowed marbles. I know I could feed the bangaii at night but I have a labour intense job and cant stay up longer than the clowns ( yea I know pretty sad) I feed every 2 days, so would this be over feeding or just the clowns compensating for not been fed the day before?

Guess thats why most of the people on this site upgrade to be fair. Good excuse for other half too.

I have a real tidy Briford enclosed trailer that might fit your tank in it. Its my work trailer but I only use the racks on top for extension ladders ect. whats the dimensions of the tank? and I'll measure up. Hold on to those frags and I'll pop round mid week if it suits. Do you want a purple finger leather frag, has three 2 inch branches. At no cost of course, i've got heaps! ohh and if the tank wont fit we could make a trailer easy as.

lowered from 1.029 to 1.028 over the last two days. What is the maximum amount of freash water you can add per day to a 230lt tank to lower the salinity safely? Do I have to wait for the salinity to be correct to do a water change? Thanks Shane

True salinity 1.029 getting a refracto off steve soon, then I can adjust everything and try again
