Maybe you should support the local & private buzz instead of been soo loyal to a retail pet store chain :-? surely jansens pays you by the hour and not by commission? hence.... what do you care if a fellow reefer saves a buck or two ?. You know how expensive this hobby is

Possibly true I got a pair from the same batch of clowns 2 weeks ago and thay have doubled in size. If you dont have other fish to bully them my guess is water condition :-? I find my star polyps pretty hardy, but they always close up for a day or two when I dose Mag. :-?

When did you last check out your rodi? and whats coming out of it. Checked your fuge and stock in the fuge? Mate your a COASTY and you know every one that moves away always come back but tauranga is a good spot better shout you beers this weekend and remind you why the coast is best 8)

Will do Frags are lookoin mint and allready attaching to rock I'll compare my parameters to his cause my lps are about to burst, they're looking soooooo good! But I'm havin probs calibrating my refracto every time I check it with rodi its .002 out

I've got a real pain in the ass bristleworm that will grab anything loose and drag it to the base of a huge peice of live rock he calls home!! have never seen it but it grabs frags and even bits of rock the size of golf balls every now and then I click a frag is missing and sure enough its half stuffed under this rock

Hey I added a UV unit today and it has a sponge pre-filter on it, do you think I should remove it and flush the unit often........ or leave it and clean the sponge often?? Does a sponge filter effect performance or not? You can just PM me if you want save getting 'proven wrong' by some goober :roll:

Its nearly one year old. The BTA is massive ! that powerhead was turned off so there was no risk It was just introduced when I took the shot and has since found a spot and hasnt moved since, just grown heaps! and I dont even feed it. Photo makes the tank look like s@#t, so I cant wait for a good camera
