i have setup my spare tanks to help rehome some of my friends fish...i just added prime to the water and they are all ok

just keep good water conditions and he should be find, the gill curl wont go away unless you cut it which i wouldnt recommend and the tail will heal if you can get a cert you will can figure out the age of the fish but i'm sure there has been only one batch of greens imported into nz in the last couple of years

ph should be between 6-7.5, i prefer 6.5 but as long as your ph is stable it will be fine imho this fish looks stunted and not very good condition, he is missing bottom part of his tail? and the gill curl is a good sign he wasnt looked after by the old owner

the 88g cylinder running about 1 bubble per second for 24/7 (without turning it off at night) a cylinder lasted about a month $30 for a refill so its about a $1 per day

2) a chiller is always handy to have and it all depends on how hot your room gets during summer i didnt think i needed a chiller when i first started, but after the first summer and watching the temp go from 24deg to 30deg i decided a chiller is a must for my setup

i have both, tunze for my good tank and sunsun for my not so important tank (both marine tanks) tunze is awesome but comes with a awesome price the sunsun is great for the price and works just fine Ecotech Marine Vortech is the super cool one but does come at a super cool price

how do you like it? do you turn it off manually at night? for all that wants to know the price - $199 was the price i saw on the 88kit, not sure how much the 20kit is

no more diy co2 i think they start selling next week the 88kit does up to 151 litres and the 20kit does 57 litres

a "Qian Hu" farmed second grade red is about $1800-$2000 retail in nz and they are not even red, they should be called a light orange
