Mom: What are they for? Dad: You know that fancy new microwave oven we just bought? Those towers transmit microwaves that the oven collects and uses to cook the food. My partner used to have a little container that stuck to the supports on her glasses and a guy that had been indulging in spiritous liquours whispered in my ear asking what the wee box on the glasses was for. " You have heard of pacemakers for your heart?--yep. Well she has had a stroke and this is a pacemaker for her brain." He believed it for some time but it took a really long time before she got the joke. Report
