hovmoller
My wife and I are going overseas from 26th July - 11th September and would like to leave our 5 year old little male Maltese dog in someone's home instead of in a kennel. So if you are interrested, have the ability and the surroundings and want to make some money then PM me. He is very playful, harmless and cuddly. He is desexed. We will provide food, bed, toys, etc. Would like somewhere within an hours drive from Auckland. Here's a picture of the little guy:

phoenix44
Forget the party! $600 is like 2 more pressurised CO2 units! :slfg: :nilly: I don't know if my landlord will let me have a fluffball for 6 weeks, but it's pretty far anyhow. Sunbird73
I really want to, fully fenced property in the suburbs but Mum said the cat won't get along with the dog D: you cat will survive & hide for a few weeks, and will forgive you when he's gone (sounds like mum speak for I don't want to) What a shame, I would love to have him but our fence is old and has maltese sized gaps in places. Our dog died in Feb and I really miss having a dog around, but he was a big dog and so we never worried about little gaps. He is definitely a little cutie

Nymox
I prefer working dogs, We lost our dog a month ago, I won't get another until I have my land and can work it every day. The happiest dogs I have seen all have employment. Pig dogs can be cute too! Neela is a thai ridgeback x kelpie

Nymox
When me and my boy would get a big bore when he was younger you could really see the happiness in his face. To be out with the pack providing for the family. Anyways we have hijacked a thread, sorry Hovmoller. I would take him, fully fenced cats are used to dogs but we are quite far away. PM me if you have no luck elsewhere. He would get daily walks, and I wouldn't take as much as $600 off you either.
mcrudd
I opened this last night and my daughter saw it. She said oooh mommy that is the doggy that played so nicely with me can we watch it. Unfortuanatly we have big gaps in our fence and gates and i have a cat that thinks she was a lion or tiger in a previous life, so I can't. Just thought I would mention that the little doggy loves kids
the-obstacle
Our dog died in Feb and I really miss having a dog around, but he was a big dog and so we never worried about little gaps. Oh crap! He was awesome the one time I met him. Blind and pretty much deaf and hobbling along but awesome all the same. Really sorry to hear.
David R
I would offer but we're restricted to two dogs because of the councils laws (have to ask neighbours permission etc for more than two). If you don't find someone I would highly recommend Bethells Farmstay, thats where our two have been while we were away and they've absolutely loved it. They even post pics on facebook so you can keep track of what they're up to while you're away. As long as your dog is well socialised and enjoys the company of other dogs it will love it there! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/pages/Bethells-Farmstay-For-Dogs/74657146459
Sophia
I met Hovmoller's dog on the weekend and he is such a sweet and friendly little dog, a real smooch. I am renting and not allowed a dog unfortunately :-? .
Sunbird73
Oh crap! He was awesome the one time I met him. Blind and pretty much deaf and hobbling along but awesome all the same. Really sorry to hear. Thanks, appreciate that. He was ancient at 14.5yrs - so for a big dog, he did very well. Sorry OT again
