July 15, 201115 yr comment_446615 I really like the minimalist look of the tank, good work! Sorry if this is a silly question, but I thought the mandarin fish needed large amounts of well established live rock to graze on. How do you get on keeping it in that tank? Report

July 15, 201115 yr Author comment_446620 Sorry if this is a silly question, but I thought the mandarin fish needed large amounts of well established live rock to graze on. How do you get on keeping it in that tank? not a silly question at all, he picks at the rock work and sand all day but also feeds on flake when i feed the tank. the tank he came from he was in for 3 years and eating flake so thats why i took him as the hard part was already done Report

July 16, 201115 yr Author comment_446685 its hit or miss if they eat frozen or flake but most of them do eventually eat them its just having enough live food in the tank until they do that can be the problem Report
