Sheepsnana
When TV is crap, stream. We watched more of GoT season one (I have both seasons saved to the HDD). It was better than the dribble she was watching the other night.
Godly3vil
GoT was awesome, can't wait till march 31st next year for season 3. I'm that impatient I went and bought the books to read while I am waiting :slfg:

Jaide
We watched more of GoT season one What's that? I don't watch tv, too much rubbish on. Edit: Cam just answered my question. I have that in my queue to watch but thought I should read the books first?
Godly3vil
The books are really good, saying that the TV series is really close to the books only a few little changes. Got a haircut yesterday, I feel naked without my long hair!

Jaide
I watched Doctor Who last night  I don't understand the appeal of that with the daleks and such. @ G - I'll read the books before watching the series then. I need to get a kindle or something as I'm sick of the damn library and having to queue to read anything.
Joe
I don't understand the appeal of that with the daleks and such. I love sci-fi programmes and I really love the concept of time travel and all that sort of stuff and I enjoy the plots of the episodes. I watched an episode of Game of Thrones and found it incredibly boring, and personally wouldn't want to bother reading the books. If so just download an app called "Cool Reader" and I can email you the series as ebooks.

Godly3vil
Lots and lots of nudity and quite violent. I know I wouldn't want my young children to be watching it, even though I realize you are more mature than 99.9% of kids your age!
Joe
I quite enjoy programmes with violence and nudity (not because I like looking at naked people  ) because they seem more realistic, if you get what I mean. I really enjoyed The Borgias which was another one of those medieval-type shows. There was lots of blood and battles and the plot was really interesting, and it gives you an insight to what life was like in those days

No I don't - hence the need to get a kindle or some-such. But, once I get the some-such, I'll be in contact
