Zayne
should Trademe have its fish section divided into freshwater and marine? whats your opinion?
Danni
Would make it easier
hovmoller
There are many things on TM that could have more categories IMO.. so yes.. agree!
bdspider
I wish that goldfish had their own category so I didn't have to wade through all their listings
BikBok
I wish that goldfish had their own category so I didn't have to wade through all their listings  agree.. there's So many of them. Even if they put them into a separate coldwater section. it would be great if they divided into: coldwater , tropical , marine I have suggested it ebfore in the category suggestions. Sophia
I started a thread for cold water vs tropical in their category suggestions a while ago and people jumped in and said yes please, that they had been asking for a long time already. I think it should be cold/tropical/freshwater/saltwater, I think that gives just about all of them a place to be listed. The goldfish listings go on forever! Sophia
when I said 'a while' I meant 'months'... it's long gone there you go, a new one http://www.trademe.co.nz/Community/Mess ... 3&topic=18 if you disagree with my suggestion or want it to say something else I will change it. I thought the 3 categories covered it without making it difficult to list something that was coldwater marine or cold freshwater :dunno:

SamH
And another one Called Dodgie SunSun, Boyu crap! or Eheim, fluval, even Aqua One! Sunsun canisters have been PROVEN to be quality filters, I am yet to find out about their heaters first hand however. Just because they are cheap does not make them poor quality. GZ_Loach
That would make it alot easier, I've had enough of looking at goldfish tanks etc
David R
Have sunsun been making filters long enough for them to be proven quality? There's some fairly ancient Eheim gear running out there, some of it probably older than you Sam!
SamH
Of course there's filters older than me! But that's not what this thread's about. I'm sure the mods would prefer it's kept on topic.

Beets82
Categories could be broken into the same groups as it is in the specialists corner in the forum title page, that would be real handy if you just wanted to browse one thing. It always takes ages to scroll the whole "fish" category Sunsun canisters have been PROVEN to be quality filters, I am yet to find out about their heaters first hand however. Just because they are cheap does not make them poor quality. Hey Sam have you looked at the topic you started on sunsun heaters recently and you will see my 1st hand experience with them. 100% dodgey. But some other sunsun stuff is ok, I have a pump and some bioballs that are fine.
livingart
yes their bio balls seem to work well, no problems with mine so far

Proven by who? this is on topic as it is in regard to categorizing TM's categories. `Your point - you dont want to look through marine's while looking for fresh water, i dont want to look through crap to find quality. hovmoller
i dont want to look through crap to find quality. But that's a matter of opinion... coldwater vs tropical fish is in 99.9% of cases not a matter of opinion (don't get me wrong I am tired of wading through that stuff too)
