Aquila
You lose your watch for 3 weeks, search for it everywhere, mourn its loss and consider buying a new one.....only to then find it in your aquarium.

Aquila
Yes, I liked my old one too much to replace it quickly and I was convinced it was somewhere in the house. I was using my cell phone as back up but hated it. LOL but you survived 3 weeks without a watch?

DennisP
I remember them teaching us how to read clocks when they taught us which coin is worth what... After 11 years of never looking at an analog clock, it doesn't come very naturally.

Zev
lol, I asked Miss Eight what the time was in town yesterday, she stopped walking and stared at her watch for ages (I could see her counting up in fives) and then pronounced it was two fifty seven, - Madam 15 said belligerently 'why did you not just count the other way and say it was three minutes to three, or nearly three o'clock!' Deepsound
they don't leave much to the imagination do they? So, fortunately, we have to use letters on internet Dennis, I don't mock you It's just amazing how fastly technology transforms our societies. As for me, I had a watch during one year. Then I threw it away. Never had another one again around my wrist. I like the object, all the briant mecanisms (Phoenix, do you know that french writer "Jules Verne" ?) and all the imaginary linked to it. But I dislike to be linked to time everytime and everywhere.
