Elaine
Hi Guys, just wondering what your thoughts are. Our beardie, Doza has been spending a lot of time in his rockwork cave. Doesn't come out for a couple of days sometimes, is this normal, he/she will be one next month. Should I be worried, will eat when I hand feed when he/she ventures out. Could the tank be to hot? range is 28 -
livingart
had reports of 3 others of a similar age doing the same recently one was too hot another too cold, the other came right with enticement of live food maybe natural as well
Sweetysmum
Hi Elaine, Calypso is thirteen months now and he spends lots of time curled up sleeping in his cardboard home, or if not there, sleeping under something else. It's always an effort to get food into him too. Is Doza eating his greens yet?

Elaine
thanks guys, Doza eats vege's very reluctantly (like having a third child). Loves peas and will eat salad mix if I trick him/her and put calcium powder all over it. Will turn down the stress meter and see what happens. alanmin4304
I think they have good days and not so good days as we do. Could be sloughing.
Freakz Nz
Hi, Del is doing this as well, spends days in his log, will come out for live food though - little bug-er (ha ha- excuse the pun)
Tabz
Hi, your temp at the basking spot should be around 40 degrees. Your cooler side should be around 26 degrees. There should be a gradient in temperature between the 2 sides. Also, your dragon should be getting 14 hours of sunlight a day during summer. Do this and I'm positive you will see a change within 2 days. Hope that helps
