Silvia-15 Posted August 4, 2008 Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 today, my awesome girlfriend decided to buy me an arowana (named tinkerbell). imagine my surprise as i saw her outside my door. now, the problem is that i already have a 35cm silver. if you keep these monster fish, you would know these are aggressive towards each other... especially the little one is about 10cm... what should i do? take the risk?? livingart Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 hi phil, i understand about the cage rusting it is merely a temporary measure, plastic would be better than glass these fish have been living together for a few months now with no overt signs of agression the last week the smaller one has been more pushy with the larger one no bite marks but damage to the mucus layer on fish so seperated til it settles down back on topic, you always risk something when mixing predatory fish be it the other fish looking like food or territorial rights becoming an issuue Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
