  1. I have 2 cx glass covers in stock and can get more if needed. PM me if you want these two. Wasp? Chimera?
  2. The starphire glass used is heat treated and if droplets hit it. it will smash into minute pieces rather than big shards that will cut corals and fish clean in half. huge amounts of cold liquid would have to hit the glass before it fails first anyway. It protects the bulb mainly, as the droplets cant get to them due to the glass covers.

    Lightburn

I dont think it will be light. Probably something to do with the frag itself or the way it is in the sand. As long as the UV protection is there it sould be sweet. How many watts?
  4. Ok, by pure coincidence, one of my 1250's did the same thing just this afternoon! Took it apart completely. I cleaned the impellor and shaft and rubber end bushes a couple of tinmes and it managed to shut up. Took a few times to do it though. The shaft needs to be pushed FIRMLY into place.
  5. Keen on the Rummy nights!
  6. No worries dude, Black carpet hides everything dude... 4 kids.... :-?
  7. The Aquabee flap may have jammed. You will see the flap adjacent to the impellor with the cover off. loosen it up as much as possible. May be that hopefully.
  8. Its a difficult one. By 20k units create a rich colour spectrum, but a darker in appearance. They make greens glow, but reduce pinks to whiter shades. The lumenarcs are in between, so perfect in my opinion, the greens still glow which is important IMO. The red monti im not sure about yet. but I think will improve.
  9. Yip, 400SE, but the reflectors arent as efficient.

I put my one 250mm above water level to start and its still bloody intense!
  11. That one reflectors throws bright light beams all over my lounge and dining room. AWESOME.
  12. Havent seen that yet! Will see today... I only have one bulb at the moment. so wont see for a couple of weeks. Will take a shot with the two 20K blues with it though later.
  13. Thanks brother.... Come have a nosey, the colour is simply outrageous. Sold the bus for a profit and in the first week!! Good bus mate...
  14. Sold the bus, plus the money from the other lights will help.
  15. 3 x lumenarcs will do just nicely. Heres a pic of the intensity of just one.... Its my old shitty camera too! all the alluminium rails will be removed also. Will look real tidy. It was my downfall really......Still grew good though!!
  16. I have one fitting.....
  17. Ok.....more upgrades! Here goes another lighting upgrade... Coudnt resist the Lumenarcs. Heres the first installment. My new Macrocarpa beam with Alluminium box section heat sink to protect timber. Looks smart too. Marine stainless fittings from ceiling to beam. Now I have to wait for the bloody fittings!! I hate waiting!!! Might get the first one up actually.....
