Saying that the reflector is only as good as the light source is ridiculous A. The bulbs are no brighter than any other 400watt MH I have used. Why do high powered torches such as "MAGLITE" have super shiny scientifically designed convex reflective dishes in them. Are you saying the bulb is just as good as without the dish? Try running a maglite torch without the dish and you wouldnt see an elephant crossing your front door step. It would be crap. NO WAY......

Here is just ONE, Look at the reflection on the wall also. I now have three.

Luminarcs are simply a relector for your MH bulbs. They have been scientifically designed to reflect as much direct light as possible ito as many angles as possible. I have dropped from 4 lights to 3 as the reflection and spread is phenomenal, there fore saving power consumption too. If you see some Fay, you will want some! I know you!!

Approx 10 heaped tablespoons of each per week now!! (Ca, Mg, KH). (dosed Thursday and Sunday). Its too much all at once now!! (I guestimate the Thursday dose, and test on Sunday).

It actually looks better Fay. Much better spread and colour. My old lighting was nice, but was a bit dark in some parts. NExt time your up this way giz a shout!

The triple Luminarcs have made a HUGE improvement with light. Corals are responding too.

Couple more shots of latest growth. Did a spring clean a couple of days ago and renewed the carbon, Man....what a difference with a new batch of carbon....crystal clear.

I have been running vodka at that rate for 8 months solid. I still am. I run it every day.

Just run the vodka while you are thinking about the cause at this stage. If it doesnt fix it it certainly wont harm anything. If it is it will prevent any further issues and help. 1 ml per 100 litres; i.e 1000litre tank = 10 ml. Therefore 5 ml morning, 5 ml night.

It will be Cyano Shawn. 1ml of vodka per 100 litres for around 2-4 weeks and it should disappear. I will be surprised if it doesnt go after that.
